Volkswagen Repairs, Modifications and Restorations
G.T originally started in 1975
almost exclusively working on air cooled Volkswagens and Porsches. We did all
phases of general repairs, mechanical restoration, rebuilding and
modifications. We install dual carburetor kits including all modifications
necessary for accelerator linkages and electric fuel pump. We also do welding
to replace rusted floor pans and heater channels. We then progressed to
servicing, repairing and modifying water cooled Volkswagens, Porsches and
Audis, which then led to working on all German imports. We are a member of the
Long Island Volkswagen club and enjoy a good relationship with it's members. We
stock a considerable amount of V.W. parts and have access to almost any part
necessary for any project. G.T. also restores, builds and assembles Porsche
356, Speedster replicas and Dune Buggies including shortening chassis, building
and installing high performance engines installing turbo chargers, performance
exhaust and suspensions systems and all electrical wiring and
lighting.
